how can get assigned to a bug

hi, i am really interested in contributing to ubuntu. so i thought of starting with some simple bugs in diff package. how can i request for a bug to get assigned for me? how can i request for a bug?

Dear Paru,

Go to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ and search for the project you want to subscribe. You can subscribe to bugs by clicking "Subscribe" link in the menu in right top of the page when you open the project's bug page.

thank you for your reply . i subscribed for the bug. shall i start
working on that. how i should i submit it after i fix that. i already
