Time-out on first load of a page

Asked by Bernard

Hello,

I noticed that the first load of a page requested always fails in timeout. This means the listings for the first channel are incomplete (first day is missing).
As a workaround, I added following lines at start of FullChannelParser method:
   // Dummy load file to skip banners
   LoadFile("http://www.teveblad.be/ndl");

This seems to work for me..

I thing the failure should have something to do with an automatic redirect to the main page when no session is available yet (this is also how the website behaves when using a browser)

My version is pretty old, so not sure this is still an issue in the last version available

Hey,

thanks for sharing the fix. Personally I do not use the program anymore, as
I switched to TV-Vlaanderen and the program info is delivered with the
channel. But I'll put the fix in and upload the new version.

Thanks,
Sam.
