Awn

following Python modules could not be found: feedparser

Asked by Pat Fletcher

After a reboot -- from tablet mode when i was using Skype to laptop mode -- AWN wouldn't work. I clicked on the blank square (bottom right of the screen) and received this error message:
>>>
The following Python modules could not be found: feedparser. There are a few possible
explanations for this:

1. You do not have this Python module installed. In this case, you should
visit the AWN wiki's applets section to figure out the exact name of the
package for your distribution that provides this module.

2. The module is installed in a non-standard location. This is usually the
case when you manually install a package, that is, not via your distribution's
package manager. This situation is explained in the FAQ section of the wiki.

Now the loading "dots" are spinning and spinning and ....

What do i need to do to get it back where it was with the appropriate power, Ethernet connection, time, etc.?

This question was expired because it remained in the 'Open' state without activity for the last 15 days.

Yes -- i am still having this problem. Every boot-up, i just click on
the [OK] and it goes away. But i have no AWN clock, no system info, no
email connector, etc.
