Chores List start date on each chore

I am using Astrid to make me a list of chores, vacuum, clean bathroom, etc. these chores repeat on specific days, typically twice a week. i would like to see only the things due on a specific day, and would like to have a reminder when i get home to do the chores due that day. I tried using Locale to trigger an alert based on the Tag, but what happened was the alert told me every task with that tag, not the ones due today. it doesn't do me any good to know that i have to vacuum the floor TOMORROW, since i don't have to do that today. is there any way to set the system up so that i get a reminder to do something only on the day it is due?

If you create a task with a deadline, it should already give you a
reminder without having to use the Locale plugin. Locale is good for
letting you know about tasks you have to do that are tied to a
specific location. Hope that helps
