Number of countries exceeding 32

Asked by Ko gwanghun

I'm using Ares 2.0p1.

I read the guide and understood.
http://ares-developers.github.io/Ares-docs/new/sidescountries/index.html#countries
(Playable countries are max 16)

However, looking at the contents of the link below, I found that although it is incomplete, up to 32 registrations are possible.
https://answers.launchpad.net/ares/+question/255126

So I registered up to 32 playable countries.

[Countries]
0=Americans ; Starts at zero because dialog returns 0 for first listing regardless of name
1=Russians
2=YuriCountry
3=Nazis
4=Korean
5=European
6=NKCN
7=TDGDI
8=China
9=Israel
10=Test1
11=Test2
12=Test3
13=Test4
14=Test5
15=Test6
16=Test7
17=Test8
18=Test9
19=Test10
20=Test11
21=Test12
22=Test13
23=Test14
24=Test15
25=Test16
26=Test17
27=Test18
28=Test19
29=Test20
30=Test21
31=Test22
32=GDI
33=Nod
34=Neutral
35=Special

However, the remaining four are the problem.
32=GDI
33=Nod
34=Neutral
35=Special
They are countries not used for play.
But deleting those from the country list causes an error.
So I left those four on the list.

As a result of the test, right now, there are no errors and there seems to be no problem.
Could this cause problems later?

By the way, I am sorry for my poor use of English.
Please answer about my question.
Thank you.

Hello,

I am not involved in RA2 modding for a few years now, but I seen the PM.

Visibility and alliances can break on those countries which can affect how map creeps act and react upon. GDI and Nod can be dropped though, you only need to keep Neutral and Special, but you really should limit this into the 32 slots.
