Maximum of Country

Long time ago I made a NP mod, I want to convert it to ARES, but it has 24 playable countries.

And I looking up the guide .
It recommend that country list no more than 16.

I am not have heart to delete the extra countries.
It doesn't matter that AI cannot work effectively,
I can play it in Internet (such as CNCNET) with partners.
So,I'm afraid that Multiplayer mode couldn't work.

I wonder if more than 16 countries, how the invalidation would have.

Besides the taunts limit, there is no difference between a country in the first 16 slots and in the second 16 slots.

AFAIK NPatch also had this limit at taunts (if it had customizable taunts at all) so I really don't think you're affected. Nothing else goes bonkers at the 17th country/so on.

Some more logics will start to fail after 24 houses, for example if a house with an index >= 24 has some disguise sensing unit or structure. If this happens, the memory corruption will shut down your game pretty quickly.
