Asked by vishalsuvagia

my os version is ubuntu 14.04 trusty tahr when i try to restore my apt's from from iso , it is not able to detect a mounted iso as disc, also the load button present on the screen is not functioning properly when i tried to install the hal package, it says hal package not found , it says a reference package hal-info is found, but even after installing hal-info package, the load button is not functioning to manually select cd / dvd or restore from iso feature.

please help if i am missing something. also i would request to enable this feature as i am unable to use it.
