I can't install dropbox because authentication is required.

I tried to install dropbox on my PC. Then, a pop-up window appeared, saying "to install or remove software, you need authenticate". There was a detailed description, indicating some software delivered by Apt Daemon. I tried to install it in vain because I don't know how to install the package named aptdaemon. I want some help for installing dropbox on my PC where ubuntu is running.

I used a password of root account for authentication. And it seems to be working now.

i can not install because an autentication is required but i have not de code for autentication
