There seems to be a programming error in aptdaemon while installing something

I got this,
 Traceback (most recent call last):

  File "/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/aptdaemon/worker.py", line 936, in _simulate_helper

  File "/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/apt/cache.py", line 218, in required_download
    pm.get_archives(fetcher, self._list, self._records)
SystemError: E:I wasn't able to locate file for the sun-java6-jre package. This might mean you need to manually fix this package.

ok mostafa ;-) i just find the way to fix this, when you boot your pc at grub screen click on the second option ubuntu 10.10 recovery mode, when you the select the option fix broken packages, reboot and you will see you can install programs again

I have same problem as Mostafa, but cannot understand your instructions. Could you explain what grub screen is, where to find the recovery mode option and where to find the option fix broken pages?
