Builder Extras
PPA description
This PPA is consumed by all of the kernel build PPAs and on the dirty build farm. This is _not_ a build PPA. If you need to add something it _must_ be built as if for -security and it must be built elsewhere and copied with binaries into this PPA. The builders will automatically pick this up approximately once a day.
Note that it is used by all the official build PPAs so think long and hard about what you add to here.
Current Contents:
xenial cross compilers: the primary compilers have been updated in -security but the cross compilers are only updated in -updates therefore our builders cannot see them
artful gcc-7 and xenial gcc-5: these are the retpoline enabled
compilers from -proposed.
xenial kmod to fix issues with arm64 builds -- this needs to hit -security and soon.
focal & hirsute have dwarves-dfsg binary copy from -proposed (until they hit -security)

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:canonical-kernel-team/builder-extra
sudo apt update
