Wine game issue

Asked by Brutal_Moose

Hello, I am new to ZorinOS. I am not an expert Linux user. I installed ZorinOS, and performed system updates, then I used Wine to install Battle.Net game launcher, and then I installed Starcraft: Remastered, and Starcraft 2. Both of them installed without any issues, but when I start either of them, it says it is starting the game, but then nothing happens. I have tried the 32-bit setting inside Battle.net game launcher, but the result is the same.

My computer is a:

Lenovo E440 laptop from 2014
Intel i3 64-bit integrated graphics
UEFI
Using external monitor/keyboard/mouse
Internal SSD with plenty of space
ZorinOS 15.2
16GB DDR3

I am not a Linux expert, so if you have suggestions, I need to know all of the steps. Thank you so much!

I suggest that you look at the wine application database for information https://www.winehq.org/search?q=Starcraft

Yes Manfred, I had already posted a question there, I thought someone here might also have an idea. You are an extreme systemizer.

Can you help with this problem?
