index not updating

I have added a file to my Notebook folder (on one machine), but the index does not update (on a second machine)

The file was created in Zim on the first machine
It has correctly synchronised to the second machine (using pCloud) - I can open the file etc on my 2nd machine

I click "Update Index" under "Tools" but this does not solve it

If I search for words I know are in the file (from within Zim) on the 2nd machine they do not show up (so the file is not just hidden in the index, it is not being included in the Notebook)

Can you suggest anything else I might try please?

Zim 0.65 on Ubuntu 16.04

Workaround to address this issue is to run

zim --index path/to/mynotebook.zim

at the command line
