Zim

Displaying modification date

Asked by MarcAtQuod

In the source of the pages, the modification date is available but it is not displayed in Zim. How can I change the settings to view both dates (creation and modification) ?

Thanks,
Marc

These properties can be seen in the properties dialog ("File" -> "Properties" -> "Page").

It is not the intention to update the page content with a modification time every time you change the page. But could be used for example for a "recent edits" dialog or similar.

OK for seeing...

The modification date is very important ! This information is already up to date in the pages :

Content-Type: text/x-zim-wiki
Wiki-Format: zim 0.26
Creation-Date: mar, 30 déc 2008 18:09:28 +0100
Modification-Date: lun, 05 jan 2009 14:54:26 +0100 <===== !!

And after a few minutes and a new modification into the page :

Content-Type: text/x-zim-wiki
Wiki-Format: zim 0.26
Creation-Date: mar, 30 déc 2008 18:09:28 +0100
Modification-Date: lun, 05 jan 2009 14:57:53 +0100 <===== !!

I only want to be able to display the text into the pages like the creation date...

Well, in the current version that is not possible.

If you want to file a request for this please do so in the bug tracker.
