In-line display of jpeg images?

Asked by Rudi Winter

I can display png images by dragging and dropping from thunar (using Tools -> Open Folder), but it doesn't work for jpeg images. I'm not sure if it's supposed to work, though, as the manual only mentions images but isn't specific about formats. I'd like to be able to include photographs, and jpegs are usually better quality than pngs for photographs (as opposed to line graphs).

Sounds like a bug to me. Image support may vary depending on the libs
included in your Gtk install, but I'm pretty sure jpeg should always be
included. Can you open a bug report and include a detailed description
of what does happen exactly. It will be useful when you start zim from a
terminal with "zim -D", perform the drag/drop and include the terminal
output in the bug report.

Thanks for that - I didn't have jpeg enabled when installing Gtk+... Works a treat now. Sorry!
