Zim

tags with spaces

Asked by Jan Boettcher

Is it possible to define tags with spaces inside (eg. 'Open Source')? Multi word keywords would be handy.

Hi jan,

I think the only way to join multiple words in Zim tags is using underscore symbol, for instance:

@history_middle_ages
@geography_south_america

Hi mtibbi,

Thank you for your answer. I use (unfortunately with no fixed pattern) CamelCase or as you suggested the underscore for multiple word tags.
But searching for those keywords is tedious. I have to try the CamelCase and underscored version. If there is no match I have to do a full text search for the untagged keyword.
So I wondered if there isn't a syntax like eg. @[Open Source] for those keywords.

maybe you break the word into multiple tags?

Open Source

@open @source

Can you help with this problem?
