Zim

Crash when using Firefox-Plugin Zim-Clip

Asked by Wolf Szameit

Hello,

I am not sure if this is the right place, but I will try anyway.

I am using Zim 0.65 on Kubuntu 14.04 with Firefox 50.0.2 and the Plugin Zim-Clip 0.7.1 .

Often Zim crashes when I try to add content e.g. by highlighting text and then using a right click and "Send to Zim (capture)" from the context menue. I get this error message:

What should I do?

Thank you very much in advance for your advice!

Hello Wolf!

you need to contact the author of zim-clip

you can also use another firefox plugin called copy as plain text
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/copy-as-plain-text/?src=search

you just have to save it inside zim folder, its not the best but you can capture text with dates
