Zim

I want to delete the Zim cache folder in Windows and I can't find it

Asked by Terry Morgan

Child nodes are missing from the tree view in my zim notebook. The files are on the hard drive.
Tools > Update Index does not restore the child node listings.
Deleting the notebook entry from the zim splash window and re-creating it does not refresh the zim index.
bkidwell has been helping me on IRC and suggested I look in %APPDATA%/Roaming/zim/data for a cache. There is no such folder on my drive.
There is %APPDATA%/Roaming/zim/config but that's the only folder inside the %APPDATA%/Roaming/zim folder.

A workaround of copying the notebook to a new location and opening it in zim by creating a listing in the zim splash window results in a notebook that shows all the nodes including the missing ones.
I would like to get to the bottom of why I seem to be missing a zim/data folder.

Hi Terry,

What is the operating system and Zim version you are using? Zim portable or installable?

I replied to mtibbi's email but it didn't show up in your system.

The OS is Windows 7.
The zim version is 0.63
