Getting images on zim server

Hi I have noticed that if I try to start a server from my zim wiki any images in that wiki get broken - they just appear as empty boxes with an icon of a broken image.

This is, for me, besides the fact that special characters in links do not work well, one of the biggest draw backs of Zim. I haven't seen a lot of support for this application since I began using it several months ago and my bug reports have gone unanswered.

So - is there a way to have images work in a zim server? Also will you be looking into the linking problem?

Hello,

I think you need to attach the images internally, it should be inside the folder, you can see it on the attachment browser plugin.

Edit> Preference> Plugins > Attachment Browser

Then go to

View > Attachment Browser

That will upload the images, yes, but it still won't show them in-browser. A link simply appears at the bottom of the pages 'X.png', and there's still these dirty great big empty boxes with the broken image symbol.

Any other ideas?

Oh I totally get it now! You attach using that method, then you drag the image from your created folder within the zim book directory and it uploads correctly. Great! :)
