Is there an option to auto-remove .bak~ files?

Hello,

I have manay .bak~ files scattered all around, it does not cause any problem but i would like to remove them. is there any way to auto-remove them?

Zim does not have a way to clean up these files. Probably you can do it with a simple script, but needs some experience in such things.
