Deleted one page but lost several, can I recover them?

Asked by Mary

So I use the Zim Desktop Wiki to keep track of notes on several different stories that I am writing. A bit ago I was in it and selected one of the pages that I had created to delete because it was an empty page and I no longer needed it. Suddenly, it deleted about 4 pages all at once, loosing several months of notes from several different projects and I cannot seem to recover them. Is there any way to undo this? Any help would be appreciated because I honestly have no clue.

Hi Mary,

Very sorry to hear you lost multiple pages of data. Have you checked the
folder with zim notes? It may be that the text files are there, but
indexing goes wrong. If they are not there, your only hope is when you
were using a separate backup or the "save version" plugin.

Regards,

Jaap
