launch exe from html export

Hi,

Before exporting to html, in zim desktop, when you click on this link C:\Program Files (x86)\Audacity\audacity.exe (a program on my computer), it launch the program.

But after export to html, when you click on the link you can only download the file. I would like it launch the file.
Is it possible ?
I hope I'm clear. not sur ...

No it is not possible. The link is a file link and zim asks your operating
system to open it. On windows the result is to run the file if it is an .exe

However in the browser the file link is handled by the browser itself.
Browsers never allow to run .exe in this way for security reasons. (Imaging
a website using htis to trick you and run some virus ...)
