Windows 8 can't start Zim

Better ask this question on the mailing list - maybe other users there have
some experience.

P.S. it sometimes helps to run zim with the arguments "--standalone
--geometry 500x500+1+1" to recover after a crash.

Thanks, it works :) But one question: in future i'll not have a problem and bugs with this solution ?

If that solved the problem zim was actually running, but off-screen (don't
aks my how or why that can happen - windows behavior is not always logical
to me). With these arguments you force the window position back on the
screen.
