Search/Sort on Date Created and/or Date Modified?

Asked by John Buczek

Is it possible to Search/Sort on dates or date ranges from Date Page Created and/or Date Page Modified?

I've been using a series of zim-like programs to track everything I've ever done or wanted to remember for about 23 years. It's been Treepad Business Edition for 8 years but three years ago I abandoned Windows in favor of Ubuntu. Wine/Treepad is functional but slow and clunky with some annoying conflicts and I find it's "export to html" functions unusable. Zim looks like an excellent replacement.

The problem is that my database exceeds 10K pages and outdated pages can only be found by stepping through everything in alpha sequence. I'll have to do that to transfer the data to Zim but I'd like to know that in the future I can say something like "show me everything created before xx/xx/xx" or "show me everything not modified since xx/xx/xx".

Not possible at the moment, but should be easy to add as a keyword in
the search function. Please open a bug report to request this feature
and I'll have a look at it.

Jaap
