InterWiki links to a notebook: problems

Asked by nomnex

I copied the Zim manual to my "/home" dir. for a trial. It shows in my "Open Notebook - Zim" window as "Zim manual - /home/n/zim/manual". I gave it the InterWiki keyword "Manual".

Its structure is as following:

+Manual
|
+ ―+Help.txt
|
+―+Help
|
+―+―+Config_Files.txt
|
+―+―+Links.txt

When I create an InterWiki link to the first level page (Help.txt) using "Manual?Help" the "Help" page opens as expected. What I don't know is: how to create InterWiki links to sub-level pages "Links.txt" and "Conifg_Files.txt".

I tried different syntax without success.

a. "Manual?Links" —> it creates a "Manual:Links" page
b. "Manual?/Help/Links" —> it create a "Manual:Help/Links" page
c. etc.

Could you explain me the correct way to do it, because I am not sure I understand. Thank you.

NB:
If I edit the ~/.local/share/urls.list file:

# Link to other Zim notebooks
Manual zim+file:///home/n/zim/manual/Help/

Then "Manual?Links" works as expected.

*Edit* that doesn't work anymore: "Manual?Links" or "Manual?Link.txt" both open a new empty page in the Manual notebook.

I thin kthe problem is that you use "/" and ".txt" in your links.
Pages use ":" to seperate, so a proper interwiki link should look like
"Manual?Help:Links".

Thank you Jaap! I did not know the correct syntax. It is working fine with page names without space in them:

e.g. "Manual?Help:Export:HTML" or "Manual?Help:Links"; both these interwiki links open the corresponding page of the Manual notebook.

I have problem with name pages with a space in them, eg. "Config Files" or "Check Boxes".

An interwiki link such as:

Manual?Help:Config_Files or

I creates a new entry "Config_Files" in the Index, and the page content is a duplicate of the original "Confi Files". This new entry is permanent.
If I delete this "Config_Files" page, I receive a warning message window (zero link will be deleted). After confirmation, both, the duplicate and the original pages are gone.

An Interwiki link such as:

Manual?Help:Config Files

It also creates a duplicate entry in the index (identical name "Config Files"), but the page is empty.

Could I have some feedback about this issue.
Thanks again.

Sounds like a bug - please file it in the bug tracker.
