Open e-mail addresses directly

Hi Jaap!

Is there a way to open e-mail adresses directly, so that f.i. an e-mail client is shown to write an e-mail?

Currently, I have to add "mailto:" to every e-mail address in the link menu.

Zim should recognize email addresses even without the "mailto:" in
front of it. If this doesn't work for you, please open a bug report
and add debug output.

Well, e-mail addresses are recognized as such, they get blue, but when clicking on them, firefox opens. I.e. the e-mail address is <email address hidden>, when clicking on it, firefox opens with http://<email address hidden> and not Thunderbird, as it is set up in settings>applications.
