Checkbox sub items not updating?

I'm having a little trouble with the preference setting under "Editing:Checking a checkbox also change any sub-items."

Perhaps I'm not understanding this setting properly.

I have a nested list of to do items, for example:

[] Main
  [] Sub1
  [] Sub2
    [] SubSub1
    [] SubSub2

I have the preference setting selected to "also change any sub-items" but when I check "Main" in my document, it doesn't update the sub-items. Only "Main" is checked as complete and subsequently removed from the Tasks list under the Tasks plug-in.

I'm using Linux Ubuntu 10.04; Zim 0.48

As indicated in the bug report, this is fixed in recent versions.
