Zim

Installing on Mac, can't create man page

After having installed this great Software on my Ubuntu Netbook, I also want to have it on my main desktop computer which is a mac.
I have successfully installed all dependencies and I can run Zim by invoking zim.py.
Now, I wanted to install it. When I run setup.py install I get the following error:

python2.6 setup.py install
running install
running build
error: man/zim.1: No such file or directory

I could figure out that the error is in makeman.py line 45.
Seems to be a path problem. Can somebody help me?
