May I have a note taking interface? :p

Hi, I am a newbie to zim

I want to see a compact zim: all index and menu hidden and the tools displayed vertically on the left. In this mode set, the window/document is on top.

I'm sorry, but I do not follow your suggestion. Maybe you should try
make some fake screenshots (simple paint drawing will do) to show what
you want.

Also feature requests should go in the bug tracker, not in the
questions section.
