Bring back SVN support?

Hi,
is there any chance of bringing back SVN support in the new Python version?
The Version Control plugin only provides support for bazaar and I've been grown quite fond of the SVN support in zim in the past.

Would be awesome!

To bring back SVN we need a developer to test and support it. Last
call for that on the emailing list was without response, but you might
bring it up again there. See if anyone is interested fixing this.

Adding basic support doesn't have to be very difficult, just supply
SVN equivalents to the Bazaar commands being used.

I found bzr-svn plugin to work quite well, i.e. you can checkout a SVN working copy with bazaar with it.
