Do i need to have a terminal open?

Is it absolutely necessary to have a visible terminal open at all times? Is there a way i can keep the server running without the terminal open? Possible feature suggestion: option to startup server with computer (yes i know demons are evil but this might be justified) also possible some security features and a non web admin interface (i know you will probably hate me)?

At this point in the program's development, yes, you do have to keep the window open, unless you know a few tricks with Mac OS X. I do eventually want to have installers for everything, but remember, this is still beta and I want everything with the core to work first, Dragonman. :)

The same thing applies to security features. I do realize that is one of the glaring omissions is not having a multiple user system, but that does cause some more problems where I want to keep things simple for the early betas.

The web interface for ZFN is only for viewing files. You can't really do anything admin-related with it... most of the administrator magic happens in the command line.
