Thorough force chain visualization

Asked by Horation

I want to visualize the force chain which connect the up and bottom boundary only. And the force magnitude is above the average. How can I do it with paraview(or other software)? Now i can use the threshold filter ,but it does not produce the result which i want.Because always some short-range force chains appears. And i do not know how to filter them.
I will appreciate it if you could give me some guidance

The strong force chains start from the upper boundary(loading plate)and end at the bottom boundary in triax box, like a hanging rope whose length is approximately equivalent to the height of the triaxial box.
