create a 2d modle to get the data about stress and strain

I would like to use YADE to create a 2D model to simulate the stress-strain data obtained by applying pressure or tension to the upper and lower boundaries. Do you have any guidance for me? For example, what kind of guidance documents should I go through first?

Hi,

if you are not familiar with Yade yet, I recommend such a learning path:
- go to this page [1],
- read section Guided Tour, and Yade for users (at least Dem formulation, and Users manual),
- next, try to focus on your specific task.
