Hello,

please read [1].
Then read [1] once more very carefully and follow the instructions.

Please be more specific, i.e.:
- provide a MWE
- what are you trying to simulate? What shapes do you use? What material model do you use? ... ?
- what is "set ... stiffness"? determine proper value? set specific value at the beginning of the simulation? set a value in the middle of the simulation? ... ?
- what is "the wall"? Wall shape? Box? Facet? ... ?
- ...

Please note, that a MWE [1] could answer most of these.

Anyway, the answer is completely dependent on the material model you use. Again, a MWE [1] could help much.

Cheers
Jan

I want to simulate a box with a length of 1, a width of 0.05 and a height of 1. The six faces of this box are called walls. Granular material is homogeneous soil, and the radius of particles is equal. Wall stiffness refers to the ability of the structure or member to resist deformation. The normal stiffness is set as 2 * 10 ^ 8 and the tangential stiffness is 1.5 * 10 ^ 8; In addition, [1] refers to the link below? If so, I can't open that link.

but what actually is "face"?

> Wall stiffness refers to the ability of the structure or member to resist deformation.

It is clear what a general term "stiffness" mean. The problem is the connection "set stiffness", where setting stiffness can have many meanings (some examples mentioned in previous answer).

> The normal stiffness is set as 2 * 10 ^ 8 ...

is set? should be set?

> [1] refers to the link below? If so, I can't open that link.

yes, [1] refers to https://www.yade-dem.org/wiki/Howtoask
What does "can't open that link" mean? Do you get some error? which?
Can you open the following links?

Please discontinue using foreign characters for the titles of your questions (I guess this is the 3rd or 4th time you have done this). The knowledge base is English based, and therefore foreign characters for titles is not searchable for other users. Thank you.
