destabilization of particles on inclines with humidity which can be high.

Asked by NDONG MBELE

Hi all,

I am a new YADE user. The purpose of my internship is to follow the destabilization of particles on inclined planes with humidity that can be high.

At first, I generated a code allowing to introduce a first layer of particles in a cubic box (this first layer will be fixed to the bottom of the box),

then I generated a second layer of less dense particles than the first, which will deposit on the first layer.

I introduced capillary forces and gravity forces into my code.

I would now like to know if there is a way to tilt the support plane so that I can follow the destabilization of the particles
(from the second layer, which is not fixed)
relative to the angle of inclination of the support plane.

cordially

Hello,

please provide your code, ideally in the form of a MWE [1]

one approach is to "tilt the gravity", i.e. preserve the geometry of the simulation, but change the orientation of gravity force.
