Is it possible to get the code that was used to produce this paper?

Hi, you might grab a 2010 version of the source code and try to compile it on modern systems. You could then contact the first author to try and get the corresponding scripts.
Honestly, that's not an advisable thing to go this way.
Computing permeability is straightforward, see e.g. #7 in [1].
