unbreakable clumps to breakable ones(glued spheres)

Asked by Ali Rafiee

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to convert a compact clumps to a glued spheres; the spheres inside of each clump become cohesive meanwhile the spheres of two different clumps remain without cohesion, however they may be in contact after compaction phase.

I know this type of operation is possible in Yade, but I seek a method more practical in the way that after releasing spheres from a clump the spheres inside this clump become cohesive with a given cohesive material definition.

Thanks a lot

Honestly I don't know any better than you, and since no one else has answered in 1 week, I assume they don't either. I can offer you better help if you present the solution you have come up with and associate it with direct a question "when I convert clump to cohesive, Yade throws this error, the specimen explodes, etc etc. Here are the commands I am using, I've tried to solve the problem by doing this and that but it seems to stay".
