W: The repository 'http://ppa.launchpad.net/yade-users/external/ubuntu xenial Release' does not have a Release file.
N: Data from such a repository can't be authenticated and is therefore potentially dangerous to use.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.
E: Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/yade-users/external/ubuntu/dists/xenial/main/binary-amd64/Packages 404 Not Found
E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

Thanks!

Hello Robert Caulk,

Thanks!

Could you give me the detail (commond) to remove the PPA from the list of software sources?

Hi Shen,

You can follow the instructions given here: https://askubuntu.com/questions/307/how-can-ppas-be-removed
You can either do it through the terminal, or follow the answer including screenshots on how to do it through the linux gui (way easier). You just need to unclick the: http://ppa.launchpad.net/yade-users/external/ubuntu ppa.

Hope this helps,

Vasileios
