the difference between ScGeom and L3Geom

Hi, everyone
     I don not clearly know the difference between ScGeom and L3Geom(they both have three degrees). Whether the use of ScGeom and L3Geom is same or not? Can you give me some suggestions or some references about that? Thank you.

Hi,
L3Geom is unmaintained and it has known bugs. Better don't use it.
That is the first and main difference.
