coupling between a FEM code in MATLAB and YADE

Hello every body
I have a question about the coupled FE-DE approach.
Is it possible to make an interface between a FEM code in the "MATLAB" with the YADE (DEM)?

Hello,
Interesting question, but it is actually more a question for matlab.
Seaching "python matlab" returns this:
http://fr.mathworks.com/help/matlab/call-python-libraries.html
so it should be possible.
