replacing top facets of a cylinder with a wall

Hello,
I want to replace top facets of my clinder with a wall how am I supposed to do that?

What i am trying to achieve is the following:
1. generating an isotropic stress state on cylinderical sample
2. then performing cyclic loading which is stress controlled

I would be grateful if I could get any help with these regards.

please be more specific, e.g. post a short script resulting in your current
situation or give more detailed description on what "my cylinder" mean.
