Installation in Windows

Hi,
i would like to know whether i can run this on Windows Platform?
as i read through, it seems this can only be implemented in Linux/ubuntu..

Hi,

It is not possible to install Yade directly on Windows platforms, but you can install a virtual machine (e.g. VMWare) and create a virtual environment for yade (e.g. ubuntu).

As I know, many people is running Yade on virtual machine now, including me

yes, me too. but only for small tests. I dont think that calculation power is really the same as in a native operating system.

I'm planning to use around 10k particles..
so i think the best option will be to make my computer a double boot.
