Value of the sliding threshold in the ElasticContactLaw

Asked by Rioual

This question is related to a problem of impact between bodies (spheres) using the ElasticContactLaw:
Would it be possible to have the numerical value of the sliding threshold commonly used ?
Where can I find all the details on this interaction law ?

Thank you,

Francois

Hi François,

The law is documented here (or just type "Law2_ScGeom_FrictPhys_CundallStrack?" in a terminal).
https://www.yade-dem.org/doc/yade.wrapper.html#yade.wrapper.Law2_ScGeom_FrictPhys_CundallStrack

Friction angle is defined in the "FrictMat" material:
https://www.yade-dem.org/doc/yade.wrapper.html#yade.wrapper.FrictMat

Can you help with this problem?
