Can't find -lmetis

Asked by ZHU

yet another error has occured,
"/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lmetis", I've already modified the script "SConscript" and define the path to the metis-4.0, like '-L/home/username/test/metis-4.0' but it seems that this script is not considered during the compilation.

This is weird. It is the same SConscript that ask the link (-lmetis) and
gives the path (-L/bla/bla). If it was not considered you would not get
the error.
Is there really a library libmetis.a in /home/username/test/metis-4.0?
Maybe send me your sconscript by email.

Bruno

p.s. Thanks for using launchpad questions, but in this very special
transitory phase, we could maybe keep using private mails.

Can you help with this problem?
