Scripts gts-random-pack**.py never converge?

Asked by Luc Scholtès

Hi all,

Does anybody experience the same problem with scripts gts-random-pack.py and gts-random-pack-random-obb.py? On my computer, the simulation seems to never converge (like if YADE was iterating indefinitely). I let it run for more than 4h, but nothing happened... Is it normal? How long does it take for you?

Cheers

OK, thanks Anton. I wasn't sure so I asked to see wether it was only me or not...

Do you get this WARN too?

WARN yade.SpherePack /home/3S-LAB/lscholtes/Bureau/YADE/trunk/pkg/dem/SpherePack.cpp:107 makeCloud: porosity must be >0, changing it for you. It will be ineffective if rMean>0.

Can you help with this problem?
