Xpresser installation

I have installed Xpresser from source and manually installed it using python setup.py install and installed dependencies but i am receiving an AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'CV_HAAR_DO_CANNY_PRUNING' but installed openCV and import cv is working fine.
Can anybody please hep me sorting out this or how to uninstall it properly ?
 I also tried adding ppa:xpresser repository and installed it but still i get the same error . Any help is appreciated
