Can you make the opacity of the custom background color adjustable

Asked by Milan Djordjevic

I am using pop-os 20.04, and I have used the app to make a matrix styled sticky note with the most important commands that is always on my screen and uses the option "use these colors" instead of "use colors from theme". That way the background of the sticky note is black and the text is green. However it covers a large portion of my background and i would LOVE (and i think many other people would appreciate it as well) an option to adjust the opacity of these custom colors. Perhaps just a slider next to the background color and the text color would be great and give us a lot more customization.

Thanks.

I know that there is an option to select "transparency" but it is still opaque, it takes the 'would be' transparent color and shows it (converts it) into a non-transparent one.

For example: decreasing the transparency of a the color black just makes it brighter, not more transparent.
