The touchpad stops working with synaptics driver

Sometimes, I can not move the mouse with this driver. I 've the same issue with hardy as well as with gusty.
I am using a pavillion dv9000 computer and configured the driver manually in xorg.conf

I found a temporary solution....Go on a virtual terminal (ctr+alt+Fx) and comme back under x
