driver problems

i am trying to install ubantu on acer laptop 5053nwxmi. this is a AMD turion 64 X2 model; config of same is as follows: AMD Turion 64 X-2 TL-50 (1.6Ghz,2*256 kb Cache) Processor / ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 Chipset / 1 GB DDR 533 Ram / 120 GB HDD / DVD Writer / 14.1" WXGA CrystalBrite TFT LCD / ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 Integrated 3D Graphics / 56K Fax Modem / LAN / 802.11b/g Wireless LAN Integarted / 3 USB Ports / 5-in-1 Card Reader / Bluetooth / Acer OrbiCam. we are facing problems installing drivers for 1.ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 Chipset , 2. ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 Integrated 3D Graphics can u suggest the exact link from where we can downlaod the entire ubantu linux with support for above emntioned.

There is nothing special with your computer, just download your Ubuntu flavour from:

http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu

You have a choice between the LiveCD (which you can use to test before installing) or the Alternate CD (just for installation).

Are you sure the below provided link will work for ATi 1100 based mother
boards and graphics?

As per your suggestion we have downloaded the version of ubntu linux but, we
aren't able to configure the wireless lan which is atheros chipset. The
model details are given again for your ref.

Bit vague as a spec?
You can check what chip you have with an lspci command.
If it is an atheros you should try the madwifi drivers, and if those fails ndiswrapper.
