Translation file

I have completed spanish translation and have receved a file named "default_default-es.po". How could I update my Xibo server to use this new translation file? Where should I put this strings file for the server to use them? Thanks in advance for the answers.

Hi Alberto

Thanks for your help with the translation effort. Unfortunately the po file you have isn't suitable. You need the compiled "mo" file.

If you go here: https://translations.launchpad.net/xibo/1.1/+pots/default/es/+export

Download the Spanish translation in MO format and save it as es.mo. You then need to replace the es.mo file in the locale directory with the file you downloaded to load in the new translations.

The updated translations will be included in Xibo 1.1.1 server release.

Note that translations only work with Xibo server 1.1.0 or later - which is a development preview release and is not production ready. See the release notes for details.
