Backgrounds Scaling 4 x 3

I created a JPEG 1024 x 768 and uploaded it.
I selected it as my Background in a layout using the 4 x 3 template.
The client is running at 1024x768.
However the background both in the layout editor and in the Client is smaller....

What are the co-ordinates of the Layout for a 4 x 3 display?

Hi Steve,

The Server will automatically resize any image used as a background so that it fits in the browser window when you are designing it.

If you upload a 1024 x 768 image it will be resized to 800 x 600 (4:3) for use within the Server Interface.
When it is sent to the client your original - unaltered file will be sent and resized to fit appropriately within the available space on the client screen.

I can understand why the server image is smaller (it is meant to be so it fits in the interface) but I cannot understand why the client image is.

Can you provide the image in question and the resolution of your client PC - I can then re-create your exact resolutions and see what you are seeing. You can send the image to <email address hidden>

I'm afraid this was my mistake.
I Tried to recreate the error - and realised that I must have rescaled the CANVAS and not the Image (Using GIMP)...
Therefore I had a transparent border around the Background Image.

Sorry Case Closed.
